Privacy

Short version: we collect an email address when you give us one, and a payment processor handles the money. We don’t sell anything about you to anyone.

What we collect

Your email address, when you subscribe or buy. It is stored with our email provider, Encharge, and — if you have bought something — in our own delivery service, where it records what you own so your library can open.

Your order. Payment is taken by Fourthwall, who hold the card details; we never see them. We receive the address, the items and an order id.

Ordinary web logs. The site runs on Cloudflare, which records requests for security and reliability. There is no advertising tracker and no analytics cookie on this site.

A spam check. Forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which decides whether you are a person without profiling you.

Files you download

ePubs bought here are watermarked with your name and order reference, on the copyright page and invisibly in the file. It is how we sell without DRM: the file is yours to move between your own devices, and if a copy turns up where it shouldn’t, the watermark says whose it was.

Email

Every email has an unsubscribe link and it works. Unsubscribing stops the newsletter; it does not remove what you own, because your library needs your address to find it.

Asking us to delete you

Write to troy@troylambertstories.com and we’ll remove your address from the list and from the delivery service. Deleting the delivery record closes your library, so we’ll say so before doing it.

Questions about any of this: troy@troylambertstories.com.
